What Happens at the Conference?
Visit this page for the full schedule.
The conference consists of 3 main parts:
Keynote Speaker Presentations, Illustration Workshop, and Autographing.
Keynote Speaker Presentations vary depending on the author. Authors may focus on specific books, their writing process, techniques, and/or make time for questions. These presentations are meant to provide information that will allow educators to teach horizontally. The more background information shared by the authors, the more educators can engage their students in deeper learning of a book. There are four Keynote Speakers who present at different times. Attendants can listen to each one!
The Illustration Workshop provides attendees with a close look at an artist's method of illustration. There is one workshop with one artist.
Autographing sessions are self-explanatory! There are two sessions with all four Keynote Speakers.
